Description:

Offers clinical services to caregivers of eligible and covered Veterans enrolled in the VA health care system to promote the health and well-being of family caregivers. Programs include:

  • Program of General Caregiver Support Services (PGCSS): Offers peer support/coaching and skills training to caregivers of Veterans
  • Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC): Offers enhanced clinical support and financial assistance for caregivers of eligible Veterans who have a serious injury and require in-person personal care services
