Description: Parkview Adult Medicine Clinic opened its doors in Summer, 2012 and is staffed by doctors enrolled in Parkview's Residency program, as well as three veteran teaching physicians and a nurse practitioner. The clinic serves as a teaching facility, but will also relieve much of the strain on Southern Colorado patients who currently do not have a primary healthcare provider or other options for care. These patients will now have another choice, other than overcrowded emergency rooms, when they are seeking care. Parkview Adult Medicine clinic features 16 state-of-the-art exam rooms, a lab, insurance counseling, and in-house billing. The clinic is also able to offer all of the resources and specialties available at Parkview Medical Center. Parkview Adult Medicine Clinic accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and CHP+.
