Description: Medical Specialty Camps provide: - Roundup River Ranch is always free of charge for all kids and their families - A crazy-fun zip line. - The awesome climbing wall. - A special seat that helps all kids zip line. (Yay for everyone getting to zip!) - Canoes, beautiful canoes. - A fishing lake. (Catch, wish, and release please) - Horseback riding. - Archery (How’s your aim -?- ) - An Art Yurt. (You have to see it to believe it) *All visits must be coordinated in advance

Eligibility: Children must have a diagnosis that matches one of our camper sessions Children must be between the ages of 7 and 17 while attending camp for Summer Camp sessions. The diagnosed child must be between the ages of 5 and 17 while attending Family Camp sessions. Children must be within three years of active treatment and/or currently experiencing the challenges of a chronic or life-threatening condition. Children must be socially, physically and emotionally able and open to group activities, communal living and the camp environment. Area Served: Statewide

Description: To volunteer, please contact the Roundup River Ranch Volunteer Team at 970-524-2267, or email Volunteer@roundupriverranch.org. Camp Session Volunteers: -Background Checks -Agreements and Policies - sign off and acknowledge our policies and agreements -Full attendance and completion of Volunteer Orientation Medical Requirements: Health History Form TB/PPD Skin Test completed within 12 months of first camp session Immunization record documentation of the following: MMR TdaP/Td Varicella or date of chicken pox illness Hepatitis B or Waiver Hepatitis A (recommended for all and required for Kitchen Volunteers) 2021-22 Flu Vaccination COVID-19 Vaccination COVID-19 testing requirements and operational protocol will shared with all on-site volunteer applicants during the interview process.
