Description: Nutritional Support El Jebel provides the following for pregnant women, new parents, and caregivers with infants and children age five or younger who cannot afford an adequate diet or who have a condition which shows a need for better nutrition: - Free nutritious groceries - Personal and online nutrition counseling - Breastfeeding support (e.g., information, classes, support groups, peer counselors, loaned breast pumps to those exclusively breastfeeding) - Referrals for assistance with medical, dental, housing needs Families do not need to be U.S. citizens and will not be asked about legal status. WIC families receive a debit-type card to purchase milk, cheese, eggs, cereal, juice, vegetables, peanut butter, beans and infant formula in most grocery stores.

Eligibility: Must live in Colorado, be at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level, and meet one of the following criteria: - Pregnant women - Breastfeeding women - Families (including single fathers, caregivers, etc.) with a child 5 years old or younger Women who have miscarried are also eligible for up to six months. Families already receiving Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF are automatically eligible for WIC.
