Description: Provides supplemental assistance to help low-income individuals, seniors and families purchase food. Food benefits are based on household composition, income and resources of all household members. Individuals and Families must be at or below 130% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Individuals and families must meet GROSS income requirements. Seniors and Disabled must be at or below 165% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Seniors and disabled have to meet NET Income requirements. Income Guidelines: https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/recipient/eligibility Benefits are issued through the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) System by using the QUEST card, which is similar to a debit card.
