Description:

This is a walk-in first come, first served site available on Mondays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. between February 2nd, 2023 - April 18th, 2023. Provides free tax return preparation services to low and middle-income families, individuals, and seniors.

VITA or TCE can prepare:

• Form 1040 and 1040NR
• Schedule 1, 2, 3, A, B, D, EIC, R and limited C, E, K-1
• Form 2441 (Child and Dependent Care Expenses)
• Form 8863 (Education Credits)
• Form 8812 (Child Tax Credit)
• Additional forms may be prepared, depending on the availability of certified preparers at the site

Eligibility:

Individuals are eligible based on the complexity of their returns, if they are:

• Aged 59 or under and earn $65,000/year or less
• Aged 60 or older with simple returns
• Homebound or have special needs
• A Non-Resident student/scholar with or without an ITIN or SSN

Application Process: Walk in for assistance. Intake forms and consent forms must be completed before arrival. Limited supplies of intake forms are available at the Fort Collins Senior Center, Old Town Library, and Windsor Severance Library.
