Description: Gunnison County Juvenile Services GCSAPP provides: -Prevention education and increased awareness about alcohol and substance abuse among youth. -GCSAPP coordinates Parent Education Nights to offer parents and anyone in the community a time to connect and learn about substance abuse prevention and awareness. -Meetings which are held at local schools. -The Choice Pass program for students grades 6 - 12. -Does not provide direct substance abuse treatment. However, GCSAPP can make referrals to substance abuse treatment agencies near them.

Eligibility: Choice Pass program is available to students in school and home schooled between 6th and 12th grade. Parent education night is available to all parents as well as anyone in the community wanting to know more about substance abuse prevention and awareness. Area Served: Gunnison County
