Hadley Branch Library (Denver Public Library)

Provides a facilitated self-assistance (Do-It-Yourself with help from an IRS-certified preparer) site open from March 2nd, 2023 - March 30th, 2023 on Thursdays from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. for in-person assistance. Provides free, onsite tax preparation for low-income individuals and families by volunteer IRS-certified tax preparers.

Services provided may include:

• Federal and state e-filing
• Colorado property tax/rent/heat rebates
• Schedule A (no Schedule B) for itemized deductions
• Schedule C for simple, business income like Lyft/Uber, Postmates, etc.
• EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit)
• Forms 1099R, RRB1099, SSA 1099
• Credits for:
  • Children
  • Dependent care
  • Energy
  • Education
• Prior year tax returns
