Description: Need Grants are given to support those experiencing cancer providing : - People of all ages, with any type of cancer. - All grant recipients are Colorado residents receiving active treatment for their cancer - Referred to us by patient navigators, social workers, doctors and nurses. - Provides up to 500 dollars to adult patients and 1000 dollars to pediatric patients to help with needs while in treatment - All applications must have a Medical Verification completed by a medical professional at their treatment facility (social worker, nurse or patient navigator - Grants are awarded on a one-time annual, twice-lifetime basis

Eligibility: Grant applicants must have a cancer diagnosis and be receiving active cancer treatment of chemotherapy, radiation or surgery in the past month. Grant applicants must be Colorado residents. Grant applicants are in a dire financial circumstance, where expenses are greater than income. Grant applicants may submit one request per year for a maximum of two-lifetime awards. Must meet income guidelines Area Served: Statewide
