Description: Programs and services provide: Victim rights and legal services: -The Victim's Rights Legal Services (VRLS) Program advocates and litigates for the rights of victims in criminal cases under the Victim Rights Act (VRA). - Information on the legal system and rights of victims - Resources and referrals - Limited assistance getting information about case status, rights, etc. - Legal representation related to the enforcement of rights under the Colorado Victim Rights Act - Legal representation related to the protection of privacy rights - Legal information network Title IX Legal Services: -RMvlc's Title IX Program addresses the legal needs of victims of gender-based violence and harassment as they attempt to access their education. - Legal information and referrals about Title IX rights - Assistance accessing accommodations to ensure a safe and harassment free education - Representation of victims during school-based Title IX disciplinary proceedings - Assistance with appeals of Title IX findings - Assistance with Office of Civil Rights (OCR) and Cleary Act complaints *Serves in the State of Colorado
