Rent & Utility Assistance (TRUA)

Offers short-term financial assistance for rent and utilities. Rent assistance is directed to ERAP unless residents do not qualify for, or have exhausted all ERAP assistance. Approved individuals may receive:

• Up to 3 months of rental assistance in a 12-month period, depending upon need
• One-time assistance per utility year, including Denver Water and Xcel Energy
• Past rent assistance

Does not provide assistance with cable or internet.

Applicant must:

• Reside in the service area
• Demonstrate proof of a current financial or other housing crisis
• Meet the income guidelines below

Income guidelines based on family size:

1 - $55,950

2 - $63,950

3 - $71,950

4 - $79,900

5 - $86,300

6 - $92,700

7 - $99,100

8 - $105,500
