Description: Protective Services offers : The APS Program to AT-RISK-ADULTS . Types of Abuse: - Physical Abuse - Sexual Abuse - Caregiver Neglect - Self Neglect - Exploitation Child Protective Services CPS: - Protecting children from abuse and neglect. - Assisting parents in improving their parenting skills and preserving family unity. - Primary objectives included family stability, child safety and permanency. Reporting: If you are concerned about a friend, neighbor or loved one in any of the above areas mentioned you are encouraged to call the Gunnison County Department of Human Services intake line at 970-707-7005 or 1-844-264-5437. If it is an emergency life threatening situation call 911 immediately. We work closely with the Senior Resources Office to provide supportive care and resource information.
