Description: Soup Kitchen provides: Nutritious meals and fellowship in a safe, warm caring environment which includes: - Hot meal once a week - Hot to-go meals for guests - Hot food delivery for homebound persons - Opportunities for guests to socialize - Collaborate with community organizations like San Juan Basin Health - Group sponsorship by donations - Volunteers for cooking, set-up, serving, clean-up and delivery drivers for homebound persons IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19: Loaves and Fishes will continue to offer meals to the community on Thursdays as takeout only. Guests should come to the front doors of the Parish Hall on Lewis Street between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm where they can pick up meals to go. Volunteers are encouraged to get a food safety certification for those who work in kitchen and serving of the food
