Description: Families Plus is available for long term supports for at-risk children and youth who are growing up in families with very large, long term challenges. Services they provide: -Assessment by one of their therapists who will determine if the child or family need help -A Mental Health Provider for parents and child -Tutor for the student -Grade and attendance monitoring -A volunteer family or individual who is a mentor to the child -Job shadowing and skill building with volunteers in the community -Parent Partners that help the family obtain resources and basic support -Support to help find scholarship enrollment fees for youth clubs and for lessons and summer camps -Parents/Partners that help the family obtain resources such as rental payment assistance, transportation, appliances
