VITA Site - Colorado Mesa University

In-person tax preparation assistance. People are seen by appointment only Mondays and Saturdays from February 6th, 2023 thru March 11th, 2023 at Colorado Mesa University. Appointments are required can be made starting January 31st, 2023. This VITA site can assist with:

• Federal and state e-filing is available

• Colorado Property Tax/Rent/Heat Rebate

• Schedule A (no Schedule B) for itemized deductions

• Schedule C for simple, business income like Lyft/Uber, Postmates, etc.

• EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit) & Child Tax Credits

• Forms 1099R, RRB1099, SSA 1099

• Credits: Child & Dependent Care, Energy, and Education

• Prior year tax returns

For those making $60,000/year or less.
