The federal government is currently in a shutdown. At this time, there are no immediate impacts to federally funded child and family programs operated by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood. Families should continue to access care and services as usual.
We are monitoring the situation closely with federal partners and will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.
A “preschool” is a child care program for five (5) or more children between the ages of two and one-half (2 1/2) and seven (7) years.
A “mobile part-day preschool program” is a program with a mobile classroom that uses no permanent building on a regular basis, for children three (3) to seven (7) years of age, with no more than (8) eight children at any given time. Each class session must not exceed five (5) hours.
In any tab where a sentence references the Division of Early Care and Learning, change it to say Division of Early Learning Licensing and Administration. For ex: Practice Safe Sleep
